STUDY CARRIED OUT IN A HIGH PERFORMANCE MOTORCYCLE
The objective of the present study is to show the results to which we have reached with the installation of the Fuel Optimiser after the cleaning of the combustion chamber was done.
Tested element : FUEL OPTIMISER , fuel saver Test place: Larry Parker's shop, Rosario Santa Fé Fuel employee: Naphtha super YPF Tested motorcycle: Suzuki GSXR 600 W/92. Manufactured in Japan
Previous works made to the unit: Decarbonised of the exposed elements, aspiration and exhaust ducts, valves, etc. Burnished of the 16 valves and regulation of gaps of the same ones.
Tests: The tests were made in a test bank specially designed for motorcycles. On-line, with automatic corrections of the atmospheric conditions (pressure, temperature and humidity). The measures were carried out with feeding of normal fuel and they are compared with and without the installation of the Fuel Optimiser.
OBTAINED RESULTS:
Power was increased of 6,47%, from 51,64 to 54,98 (3,34 CV)
Torque was increased of 4,25%, from 8 to 8,84 (0,34 KGM)
Speed was increased of 2,62%, from 187,1 to 192 (4,9 Km/Hour)
RPM was increased of 3,28%, from 12.200 to 12.600 (400 RPM)
Fuel saving of 14,77% at 160 Km/Hour
RESULTS OF THE CONSUMPTION: Two races in the test bank at 160 Km/h without Fuel Optimiser, consumption of 500 cc. in an average of 83.3 seconds.
Two races in the test bank at 160 Km/h with Fuel Optimiser, consumption of 500 cc. in an average of 95,6 seconds.
IMPORTANT: When the tests of CV and Torque were made vs.. RPM, with Fuel Optimiser and without the same one,we arrived to the following conclusions: Without the device, the engine arrived to 51,6 CV at 12200 RPM. With the device, the engine arrived to 55 CV at 12600 RPM. Without the device, the engine arrived to 7,89 KGM AT 12.200 RPM. With the device, the engine arrived to 8.29 KGM at 12.600 RPM. You can see the following charts and graphics.
